Introduction
"Centre for Disability in Development" (CDD) was established by the
implementation of "Eden Centre for Disabled children" and the supporting
of other non-government organizations at fourth March 2008.

Objectives
- To raise awareness of disability issue amongst development
projects.
- To facilitate disability awareness raising to partner.
- To raise awareness of disability issue in the community.
- To facilitate disability need assessment and interventions to
communities.
- To empower people disadvantaged by disability, poverty, leprosy
to participate in
community life.
- To improve the quality of life, mobility, educational
achievement for children with
disability.
Activities
Planned Core Trainings
- Community Based Rehabilitation Training (CBR)
- Disability Equality Training (DET)
- Disability Awareness Training (DAT)
- Disability and Development Training(DDT). These trainings are
free of charge and may take two weeks, twice a year, about 36
participants per course.
Other Trainings
- Volunteer Training
- Care giver Training
- Other disabled related Trainings such as Management, Information
Technology (IT), Inclusive Education (IE) and Independent living
(IL). These trainings are free of charge and may take about three
days to five days according to the needs.
At the same time, a new approach to understanding of Disability
(social model) will be introduced. It is envisaged that this
dissemination will lead to the improvement of quality of life of people
